The Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Diseño, founded in 1966, is the leading teaching center at university level, dedicated to the teaching of Fine Arts and Design. It is the only one in the Caribbean accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art & Design, the Middle States Association, and Puerto Rico’s Council on Higher Education.

PRIZES AND SCHOLARSHIPS
Sixty-five (65%) of our students need economic assistance. Sponsor a talented youth. Establish a prize to excellency or a studies scholarship with a $500, $1,000 o $2,500 donation.
The EAPD has interchange agreements with prestigious art school such as, School of the Museum of Fine Arts de Boston, Rhode Island School of Design, Art Institute of Chicago y L’Ecole Superieure d’ Art de Le Havre. Provide a talented student the opportunity to live during a semester, an enriching academic experience with a $2,000, $5,000 o $7,000 donation. The cost per semester of one student is $7,000.
MASTER CLASSES AND VISITING ARTISTS RESIDENCES
Promote the interchange and internalization of our teachers and students, through by sponsoring a residence or a Master Class. The approximate costs are $7,000 per invited artist.
Give a student selected by jury, the opportunity to do study/travel with academic credit value. An experience where he/she can visit museums, galleries and the most important contemporary art fairs of the world. The cost per student is $2,000.
Contribute to help ensure the Institution’s fiscal stability, strengthen its study programs and assistance to students and professors.
You may set testament dispositions on property, money or other goods, personal or real estate, in favor of the Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Diseño, its Trust Fund or of any of the School’s programs.

The Schools offers six-weeks courses to children, youths and adults in Saturday hours, via its Extension Program.
