The Escuela de Artes Plásticas has security provisions, standards, and regulations for the student community and staff. There is 24 hour police protection and the location of the Escuela includes it services provided by the National Park Service.
The institution prepares and publishes an Annual Security Report, stating current security policies and on-campus crime statistics for the previous three years. All security policies and procedures have been established in compliance with regulations under Title II, Public Law 101-542, known as the Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act, as amended, and all other applicable legislation and regulations.
The institutional has a policy and regulations on the use of drugs and alcohol abuse as well as counseling services directed at prevention and development of healthy lifestyles.
