Graphic Design
The Image and Design program is designed to develop new media artists and competent and creative, designers, with a broad general culture and a mastery of communications technology. It also encourages the creation of projects in new media and designs, whose esthetic and technical quality contribute to the visual culture of Puerto Rico.

The bachelor's degree in art with a concentration in Image and Design with a specialization in Graphic Design or Image and Movement is designed to develop students' knowledge and skills in their field.

Image & Movement
The Bachelor in Fine Arts with Image and Movement specialization has been designed to teach students to design and produce interactive works in digital media, to use digital still and video cameras, as well as to develop advanced skills in sound, video and animation. It promotes the creation of projects in new media and designs whose esthetical and technical qualities contribute to the visual culture of Puerto Rico.

On finishing the course of study students will be able to:
  • Develop advanced design skills for publications.
  • Know and use design, image manipulation, and multimedia software.
  • Design and produce digital or mixed media printed works.
  • Use digital still photography and video cameras.
  • Develop advanced skills in sound, video, and animation.
  • Know the theory of new media and new technologies in the artistic context.
  • Pursue graduate study in their specialties.
  • Integrate research, analysis and experimentation in the production of their work.
